By placing an order you agree to our Terms and Conditions. Work will only commence on your cake/baked goods when your order has been paid. 

Prices

All prices are non-negotiable and priced according to your design and size of cake.

Tu Madres Bakery LLC. do not ‘price match’, as our prices are based upon our unique work and quality of ingredients used. 

Following your consultation/inquiry, your quote is valid for 7 days from the quote date. Upfront payment secures this price and prevents any further price increases, except;

1. in exceptional circumstances beyond our control e.g.  fuel price increase, ingredient cost increase etc. and 

2. Alterations made to original quote

Orders

At least 3 working days’ notice is required for cupcakes and 5 days for cakes. It is advisable to book as soon as you know the date you require, particularly for weddings, weekends, summer dates and holidays (Easter, Christmas, etc). Short notice orders will always be considered however, there is no guarantee that there will be availability to fulfill your order and a rush fee may be applied. 

Tu Madres Bakery LLC. reserve the right to decline any order.

Deposits and balance

Your date is not secured until you have paid. Your date will be held for 24 hours following an inquiry , after this time has passed your date will be made available again and will be booked by the first customer to pay for confirmation.

Customers can pay a 50% deposit if more convenient.  

Remaining balance is to be paid PayPal/via Zelle/ Venmo, on or before collection/delivery. The items/s will not be released until the remaining balance is received.  

Remaining balance is due two days prior to delivery when delivering to a third party.

Payments

Tu Madres Bakery LLC. accepts credit/debit cards only.

You should email us with confirmation of payment transfer in order to facilitate prompt acknowledgement of payment. 

Remaining balances can be paid on or before collection. 

Collection and Delivery

All baked goods are for collection, unless delivery is requested at the time of order.  

Collection of orders is available from Tu Madres Bakery LLC. via appointment only during the following hours: Wednesday to Friday 9am – 6:30pm and Saturdays and Sundays 9am to 12pm. Other times may be available on request but this cannot be guaranteed and arrangements need to made with at least 7 days’ notice. The customer is responsible for advising Tu Madres Bakery if they are unable to meet the agreed time for collection.  

All orders are made to order, arriving earlier than your expected collection time may result in your order not being ready and the customer being asked to return at their scheduled appointment. 

Tu Madres Bakery LLC. offers local delivery charges starting at at $15.00. It is your duty to examine the cakes/cupcakes/items upon collection/delivery to ensure that the order is complete and that the goods have not been damaged in transit. 

You are required to enter full and accurate details for delivery including the name, address and post-code of the recipient. We will not be responsible for any orders which are not delivered due to incorrect or incomplete information. If there is no one there to receive the delivery at the agreed delivery date and time, then it will be deemed a ‘Failed Delivery’. The item/s will be left in the nearest shaded area, Tu Madres Bakery LLC. will provide a photograph as proof to say that the item/s have arrived and that it is in perfect condition. Tu Madres Bakery LLC. will not be responsible for item/s that become damaged or stolen. . I am unable to refund the order cost or delivery charges for failed deliveries. 

Requests to change delivery/collection date and time should be given with no less than 7 days’ notice, please note it may not always be possible to accommodate these changes.  

Tu Madres Bakery LLC. advise customers to travel with the cakes on a flat surface, ideally the passenger foot well. The cake may need support either side to stop it tipping over. 

Please make sure to run your air conditioning at max blast for the items not to shift or melt during the commute to its final destination. 

Tu Madres Bakery LLC. accept no liability for cake | baked goods that are damaged on or after collection or delivered to the agreed location.   

For cake delivered to agreed locations Tu Madres Bakery LLC.  will provide a photograph as proof to say that the cake has arrived and that it is in perfect condition. 

Tu Madres Bakery LLC. collected are checked by myself and checked by the person on collection. The customer consents that it has been collected in perfect condition by accepting the cake | baked goods and removing it from the premises. Damages after this point are not Tu Madres Bakery LLC.  responsibility. 

Cakes are fragile and require care and attention when handling, storing and displaying to prevent damage occurring.

Care

As general guidance, cake | baked goods should be consumed as soon as you possible, preferably within 1-3 days to maximize freshness. 

Cakes should be stored in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight is recommended to be refrigerated if needed but no more than 24 hours after collection as refrigeration may cause the cake to dry out or melt. Cakes | baked goods should be kept flat at all times and away from strong odors.  

It is the customer’s responsibility to inform Tu Madres Bakery LLC. if the cakes | baked goods are being consumed the day after collection. 

It is advisable not to consume the cake | baked goods after three days of date made. 

Buttercream coloring may stain and care should be taken while handling and consuming. 

Design conditions

Tu Madres Bakery LLC. aim to produce cakes of highest quality that meet the desires of the clients as we understand them. 

Each cake is handmade. While every effort is made to ensure consistency in baking, a small amount of variation may occur both in the flavor, color, size, design and texture of the recipe. 

Alterations & Changes to Cakes

It is the client’s responsibility to read and check the order confirmation document thoroughly; any amendments should be made in writing. 

If requested, we will endeavor to adjust the design where feasible, but sometimes this is not possible due to the nature of the request or amount of notice given. 

Minor changes will be accommodated; however major changes may result in a re-quote. 

If the alteration affects the cost, or preparation work for the original design has already been started, then your balance will be adjusted accordingly.

Allergies and Special Dietary Requirements

Unfortunately Tu Madres Bakery LLC. does not offer 'free from' baked goods as our kitchen is not a certified allergy free workspace. All recipes will contain dairy products, egg and gluten and the client assumes responsibility for advising guests of this fact. Products may contain traces of nuts.

Non-edible items

Most special occasion cakes contain small proportions of inedible items; it is the client’s responsibility to ensure these are removed by your caterer/guests before consumption. Most of our custom cake toppers contain inedible items and are not suitable for human consumption. 

Non-edible cake toppers can be purchased at an additional cost. Individual quotes are provided upon request. Bundle of Cupcakes require at least two week’s notice for bespoke cake toppers.

Cancellation

If cancellation of the order is made 72 hours or more before the order is due for delivery/collection then a 50% deposit is retained and any monies paid above the deposit will be returned.

If cancellation is made less than 72 hours of the delivery/collection time then all monies received will be retained as preparation of your order may have started. 

In the unlikely event that I am forced to cancel an order through no fault of the customer all monies will be refunded.

All cakes remain the property of Tu Madres Bakery LLC. until paid for in full. 

Tu Madres Bakery LLC. reserve the right to resell any item that is cancelled.

If the customer fails to collect their items at their designated collection time or within a 30 minute window, it is the customer responsibility to contact Tu Madres Bakery LLC. to rearrange collection. If the customer does not contact us within 4 hours, Tu Madres Bakery LLC.  will assume the customer no longer requires the cake and it may be resold.

Photographs

Tu Madres Bakery LLC. reserve the right to take photographs of all baked goods for advertising purposes. 

It is the customer’s responsibly to inform Tu Madres Bakery LLC. if they’d like the photographs and a special message to be put on social media on a specific date.

Complaints

Complaints are very rare but are taken very seriously by Tu Madres Bakery LLC. Customer satisfaction is my priority. Some complaints may require further investigation and items must be returned within 14 hours for inspection, therefore immediate refund may not be available  

The maximum refund Tu Madres Bakery LLC. offer is the value of the cakes and any delivery charges. 

Corrections to items including inscription mistakes, can be corrected on the same day in most cases
